Drivin' for Linemen 200 Race Preview

Big Mo Riding with Theriault: Austin Theriault (@AustinTheriault) enters the Drivin' For Linemen 200 at Gateway (Madison, Ill.) Motorsports Park fresh off his second top five finish of the season at Texas Motor Speedway. Theriault hopes to keep that momentum going when he makes his fourth career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start at Gateway on Saturday night.

Austin Theriault Notes:

Scored fifth place finish one week ago at Texas Motor Speedway, his second top five in three starts this season, and collected the Sunoco Rookie of the Race honors fro the first time in 2015

Best finish is fourth in season opening race at Daytona (Fla.)

Best starting position is fourth - also at Daytona

Participated in a test session as Gateway in late April

No. 29 Cooper Standard team finished seventh last June at Gateway

What They Are Saying

Austin Theriault - No. 29 Cooper Standard Ford F-150: "Gateway is one of those tracks that is very technical. Some of the corners are different plus you have some bumps and areas where you accelerate and are under braking. I felt like we had a pretty productive test session with the Cooper Standard Ford F-150. I kept pushing the limits at the test and I'm going to continue that this weekend and hopefully pick up some more time. That's the only way you can get better."

Chad Kendrick - Crew Chief, No. 29 Cooper Standard Ford F-150: "We went with a whole different thought process and setup with the Cooper Standard Ford F-150 at the test and I think worked out pretty well. The new tire we'll have at Gateway changes the ballgame a lot. Last year the tire we had there would fall off but this tire doesn't fall off as much and there's not as much initial speed. This new tire does wear so I don't think you can leave a set on past a full fuel run. "
